"Herolymp" is a joint project of the Department of Drugs of the City of Frankfurt am Main and the Academy of Visual Arts, Frankfurt.

Tell us your heroic story

Everyone has hero stories and everyone can tell them: What it was like when you were totally drunk or stoned out of your mind or playing all night on your PC. ... Great and terrible at the same time: something you wouldn't want to experience again, and yet you're glad you did. Sometimes even glad that you survived it.

This is what the stories collected here are about. Each one is an experience in which the hero finally realizes: what could have been!

And in the end he or she is glad that these stories have their own hero's heaven in the "Herolymp". They are in good hands there - the stories that you like to tell among friends, that belong to you, and that will probably never be repeated.

The heroic stories collected in this magazine were written by schoolchildren, students or young employees from Frankfurt and the surrounding area. They were written and illustrated by students of the Academy of Visual Arts, Frankfurt.
