The coordinates of
Migration:

where from? where to? when? why?
what (was taken along)?

Generally speaking, what is life if not the unfolding of a unique individual story? No matter who we are, where we come from or what social status we have achieved, every story has its own unfathomable depth and innumerable synaptic connections to what has happened in the past, what is happening now and what will happen in the future.

In other words, every story is more than valuable enough to be told.

The most interesting, and seemingly mysterious, thing is that the unfolding of each unique story happens only through the act of telling.

From this point, many questions arise: How to tell? By whom? What exactly? Surely it is absolutely impossible to turn every second of our existence into a narrative! So, what to choose? What to leave out? And once again: How to choose? Who will choose? Who is the author?

Up to this point we are dealing with a very general condition, what has been said above applies to everyone at all times. But as soon as we begin to delve more deeply into the bundle of questions mentioned, or more precisely into the question of authorship, we enter very different fields, such as social activities, political struggles for power, psychoanalytical theories, artistic and philosophical considerations, and much, much more. They are all fields that attempt to describe the meaning and needs of individual and collective life and to design our reality accordingly.

……

For this Practice Project, we have framed one of the areas that has become a very controversial issue: the area of migration. The basis of this controversy is the area or territory in its physical dimension: the country in its borders of being a national state.

We want to proceed as concretely as possible, i.e. to understand individual experiences as the most relevant basis for the design process. It could be your own personal experience, or that of a relative or someone you have met.
