Master Classes
and Study Program


The petition.work Masterclasses and the Study Program are aimed at those who wish to take ethical responsibility in their professional field.

The Masterclasses are addressed to all creative professionals as well as decision-makers in politics, business and other fields who wish to further their education in the relationship between ethics, aesthetics and socio-political responsibility.

Each Masterclass consists of 25 hours of workshop instruction over the course of a week. Participation is on-site, but can also take place online (in parallel with the on-site events).

The Study Program offers a practice-oriented certificate with a state-approved degree in "Communication Design - Ethical Education".

The certificate program lasts two or three semesters, depending on your previous education.

The program consists of the full range of master classes (first and second semester) and an applied work in the areas of "Ethics in Cultural Education", "Ethics in Economics", "Ethics in Politics", "Ethics in Interreligious Dialogue" in collaboration with an institution or company (second and possibly third semester).

To finance the certificate program, one can apply for the petition.work scholarship.

  • For the state-recognized degree, additionally to the masterclasses 75 hours per masterclass are required for research, preparation, and creative implementation.

    For the state-recognized degree, 6 master classes must be taken per semester, i.e. a total of approximately 16 weeks per semester are required for the postgraduate studies.

    For admission to the state-recognized degree, 48 ECTS credits (= 1,200 hours, i.e. 24 ECTS credits / 600 hours per semester) must be earned.
