Before focusing on social sculpture choreography (with an emphasis on conflict research), Dana worked as a prima ballerina and co-choreographer with the Forsythe Dance Company.

Assignment: Social sculpture is at the intersection of art and socio-political engagement. The students' task in this project was to technically and creatively translate a conversation following choreographic rules into a physical sculptural dimension. "Conversation Sculptures" is the follow-up project to knotunknot, which was realized in collaboration with the Forsythe Company.
